| February 14...Valentines Day...When February 14 was approaching last year, I was so excited to not have to spend Valentines Day in the snack shop at Bob Jones with all the other dating couples. Well, it ended up that John was so sick he didn't even remember what day it was. I was quite disappointed, but figured next year would be better. Boy was I wrong! I went to Dentist yesterday and found out that the reason I am having so much pain in my mouth is due to a wisdom tooth that has gotten infected. Somehow tissue has grown over the gum and prevented the tooth from coming in. How exciting. My top left and bottom right side, no wisdom teeth exist (thanks Mom!). However, my wisdom tooth on my top right came in just fine, but since there is nothing below it but gums the dentist said the tooth would keep moving down until it touched something (thanks Dad). I had no idea teeth kept moving until they touched something. So, he is going to pull that one out too. And yes, my appointment is ...February 14. Up until now, I've always enjoyed going to the dentist. My appointments have always just consisted of an xray or two, a good cleaning, a positive report, and a new tooth brush. O-well. At least I don't have to go to a surgeon to get the work done. Hopefully, I won't swell up like a balloon and miss any work. Until then, I'll faithfully continue taking my penicillin, and pain killers and see what happens. | | |
| One Happy Gator Go Gators! Way to beat Ohio State! John was very proud of his team to say the least. Pictures don't do justice to the emotions that are displayed during FL games. I guess now we're going to start re-watching all the games that were taped...how exciting. I've actually learned quite a bit about football...since it has been on 24/7 lately. Good times.

| 1st Anniversary We went to the Melting Pot for our one year Anniversary! We were eating for over 2 hours. We started with a cheese fondue that came with three different kinds of bread, some raw veggies, and apples. Next, we had salad (no, we didn't fondue the lettuce...John thought we were going to After that was the main course...filet mignon, some other kind of beef, two kinds of chicken, shrimp, and tons of veggies. Then the best part...chocolate fondue! We got chocolate with peanut butter. It was served with strawberries, pineapple, bananas, marshmallows, cheese cake, pound cake, cherries, and brownies. WE WERE STUFFED!! We had a great time. John got me a great Anniversary gift too...an anniversary photo album. I had actually been thinking of getting one, but he read my mind. I love him sooo much. We thank the Lord for a great first year, and we hope to have many many more to come. PS - Thanks to everybody for the cards and phone calls! It was so sweet of you to remember our special day. | | |
